Exercises

1. Find a book and insert some text from it.

2. Try this both with and without auto-fill-mode enabled. Can you see the difference?

3. Now move to the beginning or end of the line, word, and so on.

4. Copy some text around in the buffer.

5. Kill several pieces of text and paste the second-to-last one into your text again.

6. Pack a directory with whatever archive you are used to (zip or tar, for example) and read the compressed file with Emacs.

7. Develop templates for the type of files you normally edit.
